Community Service
At the request of the women of the surrounding villages, a first necessities shop was opened at the entrance to the centre. A grain mill and water from the borehole are also distributed with a symbolic contribution from the villagers.
The Dispensary
Thanks to "Secours Protestant", Beer Sheba was able to open a dispensary with a small pharmacy, managed by Senegalese nurses from the team. This care unit has been so successful that an extension is being built, making it possible to add support relationship care, among other things.
The Torchbearers school
In the vision of transforming rural communities through the training of young farmers, the education of children emerged as a key issue for Beer Sheba. Launched in 2020 under temporary shelter, The Torchbearers primary school was funded by our main partner, Samaritan's Purse Canada. The first phase of the premises will normally be delivered at the end of 2022.
